Steroids
were first developed in the 1930's. Anabolic Steroid
researchers first experimented on dogs and then on soldiers,
they discovered a significant increase in muscle mass.
In the 1940's, it is believed that anabolic steroids
were given to POWs that were suffering from malnutrition
in the Second World War.
By the early 1950's, athletes in Europe
and Russia began to find that steroids were very beneficial
to there goals and soon began dominating the sport of
power lifting, crushing all previous world record. In
the mid 1950’s it was proven that testosterone
was the reason behind the greatly improved athletic
ability by Dr Ziegler. In 1956, Dr. Ziegler and the
CIBA Labs made Dianabol (Methandrostenolone or D-bol).
A decade later in 1964, all the top steroids
were available on the market. Doctors used these steroids
treat certain conditions in patients, to help cure them.
At the same time steroid use amongst athletes was increasing,
yet nobody really knew proper dosages for steroid use
in sports. High class competitors competing against
other countries almost always used high dosed, long
cycles of steroids. How to use the steroids were learned
from a training partner, trainer, or another group using
the steroids, thus resulting in bad side effects, but
incredible strength gains.
In 1991 the Federal Anabolic Control
Act was brought into affect. This put Anabolic Steroids
on schedule III of the controlled substance act. This
made anabolic Steroids illegal to buy without a prescription.
Today there are clinics who will prescribe testosterone
and HGH at a very high cost. The only other way to get
them is with a reliable online mail order pharmacy.
Today, there are millions of athletes
using steroids. They are used in all sports by both
females and males. Athletes will do anything to achieve
their goals no matter how high the risk is.
